We’ll be attending Hi-Ex 2010 in Inverness March 27th and 28th. It will be our first year in attendance and we’re looking forward to seeing Rich and Vicky and everybody else that will be there. The Com.x tour of the 2010 convention circuit continues. More dates to be announced very soon.

It lives! All those attending Forbidden Planet in Cardiff this coming weekend (23rd January) will get to see it in the flesh (and the book). I know I’m biased but, it’s a lovely looking book and really does the artwork justice.

Next big signing stop-off for the launch of Forty-Five is FORBIDDEN PLANET, here in London on Thursday 4th February 2010. And the list of creative talent just keeps growing! Check out the incredible list of guests we’ve pulled in for this one - and there’ll be some surprise guests, too! If you’re in London you HAVE to make this event. It’s rare that you’ll find this many artists and writers together for one signing. And you can get your Forty-Five book signed, too!

This is one of a number of posts going up over the next few days, once we have confirmation on actual dates. First official signing for Andi Ewington’s book FORTY-FIVE will be at Forbidden Planet Cardiff on 23rd February, starting at 1pm. Hope you can make it. Here’s the flyer for the event. We’ve received official confirmation from the printer that Andi Ewington’s book, FORTY-FIVE, will be shipped to the UK on 19th January 2010 and will be delivered to Diamond on 22nd. That means you’ll be able to buy it on or around second week of February. We’ll be posting updates soon regarding the book signings in Cardiff and London on 23rd January and 4th February, respectively, along with a number of others we have yet to announce. We’ll also be posting some of the early reviews we’ve received over the next day or two. Back soon.

To celebrate their return to the American convention circuit, Com.x are producing a limited edition, full colour, twenty-page Long Beach Comic Con sampler. It will be available exclusively from their booth (#263) and features preview art from four new projects slated for 2010 and includes never-before-seen art for their upcoming release, ‘45′ by Andi Ewington.

Sound good? Yes, it’s a bit funky and a bit fresh, but you haven’t seen the booth yet…

Long Beach Comic Con

Most of you may know by now that it has been our intention to exhibit at a US show again for quite some time. Well, it looks like we’re back with a bang. After failing to secure space this year at San Diego (that place is BUSY!), we approached the guys at Long Beach, who were kind enough to allocate a great space to us at their first ever convention. So, with immediate effect, we can officially announce that we’ll be at booth #263 at the Long Beach Comic Con from October 2nd - 4th!

It feels great to finally be attending a show in the US again - We’re really looking forward to meeting all the artists and fans and showing you guys the cool projects we have coming up for 2010. And if you have no idea who we are, then stop by, check us out, and take a look at some of the fine books we’ve been producing since 2001.

LBCC have also organised a few panels for us, so if you’re interested in hearing more about Com.x and our plans for the future, please do drop by. We’ll try hard not to bore you. There will be four of us in attendance, including Andi Ewington, the creator of one of our new projects, ‘Forty-Five‘, which will be available in December 2009, along with the softcover edition of the collected series of Cla$$war. We’re hoping to have some exclusive content available, along with copies of our most recent books which you’ll be able to check out and/or purchase.

So I guess, this time in three weeks, we’ll be wide awake with jet-lag, waiting for the convention centre to open, so that we can put the last minute touches to the booth. Look forward to seeing you there!
